If I could do it again, and I couldn't because the prices have gone far up since we were there, I'd do one where you get to kayak alone for an afternoon.Marie Javinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12632729774717864231noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4829868374604632146.post-10909331971348962672013-05-21T12:14:55.173-04:002013-05-21T12:14:55.173-04:00I had no idea you were not really comfortable with...I had no idea you were not really comfortable with 100 people in Antarctica. I liked the picture of Jacques Brel's head stone. I knew he'd been in the Marquesas (sp?), but I didn't know he was buried there. HIs last song is called "Les Marquises" - it's pretty haunting. Have you heard it? Anyway, wishing great travels in the new year!Jeromehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08554527812373615333noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4829868374604632146.post-51502257618520387872012-10-16T19:32:17.358-04:002012-10-16T19:32:17.358-04:00Thanks, Audrey! The Aussie and I flew over on Pacific Blue and hired a car in Auckland, drove around with our tent, left it at the ferry, and picked up another car in Wellington. This was an amazing trip. Though we did get massively rained on in the Southern Alps and someone broke into our car there while we were asleep next to it in the tent (I was awake because I was getting soaked). But everything else was fantastic. Thanks for writing. <br />Marie Javinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12632729774717864231noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4829868374604632146.post-37330669660926002212012-10-16T15:18:02.540-04:002012-10-16T15:18:02.540-04:00Hey Marie,
